Hi, I’m Jess!

I always wanted to work in the world of strength. As a competitive soccer player in my youth, I suffered some knee injuries that introduced me to rehab and proper movement mechanics. Now, I like to say that I create “Momthletes”. I work with women who want something more from their fitness. More than shrinking, more than beating themselves up. I help them hone a strength practice that feels good and empowers their life!

I am a mom, wife and former corporate career-woman of 10+ years turned creator of Be PowerFULL where my mission for 10 years has been to help women to level up their lives and dig into a deep sense of personal power through strength training and nutrition.

My personal journey of yo-yo dieting for 30 years then finding the Carnivore lifestyle informs the way I approach helping you heal your metabolism through nutrition. As a food addict, I understand what it feels like to be out of control around food so my methods marry understanding psychology and biology for a well rounded approach.

I’m incredibly curious about human psychology and hormones . I love coaching women to evolve their relationship with food, creating a lifestyle that counters almost everything they’ve learned from the weight loss industry.

I am a StrongFirst Barbell and Kettlebell Instructor, a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, a Metabolic Effect Nutrition 1 and 2 Consultant, Metabolic Effect Certified Personal Trainer, Lifestyle Coach, student of strength, wife and mom of two awesome dudes, 10 and 8 years old. I help curious women who are ready to grow do the things they’ve always wanted. I’ve got you!

When I’m not coaching I’m out in the woods hiking with my yellow Lab, Hatch, or you can find me dorking out on courses to further my eduction on physical and mental health, taking in concerts with my hubby, sitting around a fire pit with friends and on the endless football/soccer circuit with my kids!
