WHY SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING?


Break through strength and aesthetic plateaus,
​get personalized training support and have a blast doing it!

This semi-private personal training season runs in 12-15 week blocks during the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. This group is for those who have been training with weights for 6+ months or more (no barbell experience necessary) who wish to gain more specific and personalized progress with their strength, including experience with the three big lifts of powerlifting; barbell bench press, barbell back squat and barbell deadlift. Note: You do not need to want to compete in a powerlifting meet! This strength program is for those who want to learn, grow and challenge themselves in a fun, safe and supportive environment! We will be using all the equipment; barbells, dumbbells, rack, bands, benches, etc.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10:15am-11:15am
Tuesday, Wednesday 6pm-7pm

I started training with Jess as a complete novice. I’ve spent my whole life being pretty lazy and never enjoyed working out. I was shocked to find that I got completely hooked to Jess’s workouts! When she decided to offer a powerlifting/personalized strength training program, I jumped at the chance to participate (even though I was a little intimidated by the idea of  powerlifting). Again, I was a complete novice when it came to powerlifting and felt pretty awkward the first couple classes. However, that changed really quickly! As I started to learn the right form, I was able to make huge strides in numbers and confidence. Because Jess was able to individualize her prompts and form corrections, I felt like I was able to progress quickly and it was really exciting! There’s something really empowering about learning what works for you and using it to make improvements. Although the classes were longer than Jess’s traditional metcons, they always seemed to fly by and I never felt bored or unmotivated. Not to mention the fact that our sessions often felt like therapy! I am so glad that I took a chance on powerlifting. I am super proud of myself. I feel strong and more confident in my body than I ever have (these are words that I never thought I would say!). I am lifting heavier weights than I ever imagined I would - I feel like a badass! If a complete non-athlete like me can become a powerlifter at age 36, then anyone can do it! ​This program is for those who have been lifting moderate weight for 6+ months and wish to step towards a more personalized​ strength-based program!



You'll get:

*A kick-off movement assessment
*A 12 week written, personalized training program with mobility and strength considerations
*36 in-person, semi-private coaching sessions with individualized support/personal training from Jess in group atmosphere
*A fun, supportive team atmosphere while working on your individual goals

How to sign up:

Complete the form below to reserve your spot and session times! These will be filled on a first come, first served basis! I will be taking 5 individuals per session. You will see best results with a 3x per week program but a 2x per week option is available to you, with the addition of 1-2 regular group metcons.

Upon receipt of sign-up, you will receive a PayPal invoice for the total 12-week session cost.
3x week = $1,260 ($35/session)
2x week = $1,080 ($45/session)


All members will keep their remaining class pass accounts on MindBody and use as a supplement to this program at normal rates (I will extend expiration dates according to your new schedule).

Need childcare?
There will be no childcare available for the evening sessions, however, if there is enough demand, I will secure childcare for the morning sessions!

​BEFORE THE SESSION BEGINS, YOU WILL COMMIT TO 2 OR 3X A WEEK AND WILL BE INVOICED IN FULL (PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABLE) BEFORE THE SESSION BEGINS. IF YOU NEED TO MISS CLASS FOR ANY REASON, YOU CAN MAKE-GOOD THE SESSION WITHIN THE WINTER SEASON WINDOW.

METCON CLASSES (MY NORMAL 30 MINUTE CLASSES) CAN AND SHOULD BE ATTENDED DURING THIS SESSION AND YOU WILL USE YOUR CLASS PACKAGES TO PURCHASE THOSE. I WILL EXTEND EXPIRATION DATES TO MAKE THIS WORK FOR YOUR NEW POWERLIFTING SCHEDULE.
