I believe that physique results and personal transformation is achieved through a healthy play between discipline and self-compassion. You sincerely cannot have one of those without the other and the balance is necessary to sustaining motivation and results. I learned this the hard way!
I am a StrongFirst Barbell Strength Coach, a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Personal Trainer, a Metabolic Effect Nutrition 1 and 2 Consultant, Metabolic Effect Certified Personal Trainer, Lifestyle Coach, Powerlifter, Wife, and Mom of two little guys, 7 and 5 years old. I get you. I know you wear a lot of hats, too. That's why I work with today's woman, the busy woman, who is expected to be everything to everyone.

Metabolic resistance training (because #shortintenseeffective!), lifting heavy weights (back squats are my fav), the amazing freedom of skiing with wild abandon (seriously, the faster the better), making up off the wall songs with my kids, going to live music shows with my husband, having dance parties in the kitchen and enjoying a nice glass of chardonnay with friends!
